Twiblr?

Seems like Tumblr and Twitter can connect to each other these days. That’s pretty cool. There’s a certain sense of satisfaction when you know that your online accounts talk to each other and interact in functionality.

For example, I could post something on Tumblr, which in turn posts a tweet on Twitter, which then sends that tweet as a status message on my Facebook page. It’s like auto-update for my whole social network.

The same thing could be said with services like Vidly or TwitPic. In a way, it kind of feels like they’re feature enhancements more than entirely separate services. Tumblr to post beyond Twitter’s limited 140 characters, TwitPic to post pictures on the fly, and Vidly to showcase any video — all of these things are features Twitter will most likely never incorporate itself, but having them available provides a nice bonus for me and millions of other people.
