Apple - Countdown To Ten Billion Songs

In the same way they counted down to 1 billion app downloads from the App Store, Apple is counting down to its 10 billionth song purchase on the iTunes Store. That’s pretty crazy.

John Gruber of Daring Fireball notes:

Interesting perspective: looks like they sell about 100 songs per second.

That’s equally intense when you think about it.
